The Illinois Fighting Illini host the North Carolina Tar Heels at Memorial Stadium this week. Players will take the field Saturday, Sep 10 at 7:30 p.m. ET and the game will air on BTN and BTN2.
Illinois routed Murray State 52-3 last week. Kendrick Foster had a big game on the ground in the win, gaining 118 yards and two TDs on four carries. Malik Turner had a big game as well, totaling 83 receiving yards and two TDs on three receptions. North Carolina didn’t have the same success as Illinois, getting beat by Georgia 33-24. T.J. Logan had an outstanding performance on the ground for the Tar Heels, rushing for 80 yards and one TD on six carries. Ryan Switzer finished with 52 receiving yards on seven receptions.
