Buffalo just earned a blowout 44-14 win over Bowling Green. The team’s defensive unit held its ground in the victory, keeping the Falcons to only 147 passing yards and 58 rushing yards. Scott Miller was a bright spot in the loss for Bowling Green, accounting for 115 yards and two touchdowns on four catches. For Buffalo, Tyree Jackson completed 12-of-20 passes for 151 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Kevin Marks (63 yards on 21 rush attempts, two TDs) and Emmanuel Reed (109 yards on 15 carries) mounted the ground game in the win while Anthony Johnson (four receptions, 26 yards) and Marks (three catches, 18 yards) led the receiving corps.

Breaking down the offensive play-calling, each of these squads has a similar run-pass ratio on the season. Northern Illinois has run the ball on 60.5 percent of its offensive possessions while Buffalo has a rush percentage of 59.4.
