Shohei Ohtani has been back from Tommy John surgery and in the Angels lineup for less than a week, but it’s no surprise it didn’t take him long to hit his first home run of 2019. Elsewhere, the Brewers and Indians each called up top prospects and the A’s have another shot at a new stadium site.

The Athletics’ long quest for a new stadium got some positive news Monday, with a site approved for another possibility in the Bay Area. Let’s hope this one works out.
