Oregon State Beavers vs Arizona Wildcats Preview and Pick

The Pac-12’s top rusher, Nick Wilson (616 yards, 6 TDs), will be on display when the Arizona Wildcats play the Oregon State Beavers. This season has proved tumultuous for Arizona (3-2). Despite some success, it has lost two of its last three. The Wildcats will want to use this game to get back on track. The game starts at 4:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct 10 and will air on FS1.

Arizona was dominated by Stanford 55-17 last week. Johnny Jackson had an outstanding performance in the loss, registering five receptions for 84 yards and one TD. Jerrard Randall finished with 178 yards and a TD through the air. Oregon State came up short as well, falling to Stanford 42-24. Jordan Villamin had a big game for the Beavers, totaling seven receptions for 138 yards and one TD. Seth Collins also had a big game with 275 yards and a TD through the air.

The Wildcats, a 12-point favorite, will be looking to defend their home field when Oregon State visits. The Over/Under (O/U) for the matchup is unavailable at the moment.

Despite a 3-2 Straight Up (SU) record this season, the Wildcats have not fared well Against The Spread (ATS) with a 2-3 record. The Arizona run game is productive, currently ranking 10th in the nation with 286.8 rushing yards per game. The Wildcats make it hard on their opponents in the second quarter. Arizona averages 11.8 points during that period, one of the best in the country.

On the other side, the Beavers have a record of 1-3 ATS and 2-2 SU. Oregon State’s 12th-ranked pass defense has given its competition headaches. Opponents have only thrown for 153 yards per game against this terrifying group.
