The Seoul Dynasty are finally starting to live up to expectations. Seoul had a rocky start to the season and struggled throughout Stage One. Then, the Dynasty had two main issues. The Dynasty did not have a great Mercy player on the roster and they were unable to find a consistent secondary DPS to go along with fleta.
Through the first two matches of Stage Two, the team has not had those same problems. Mercy is no longer a must play after her recent nerfs and Munchkin has emerged as a solid secondary DPS. Seoul is the only undefeated team in Stage Two, and they will be the first team in action this week.

Seoul Dynasty -2000
Shanghai Dragons +800
This is the biggest mismatch of the week. Seoul has been dominant so far in Stage Two. The Dynasty have gotten great play out of their superstars, ryujehong and fleta, and the rest of the team has stepped it up and performed well in their roles. Seoul is finally starting to show the form that won it APEX Season 2 and APEX Season 3 when they were known as Lunatic-Hai.
The Dragons are one of the worst teams we have ever seen in any eSport. That’s not being mean, just a fact. Shanghai is sitting at 0-14 and has only won seven of 58 maps all season long. Just yesterday, it was announced that the coach would be leaving, and Diya will be missing the next two weeks too.
Shanghai did sign some players at the start of February in order to improve, but those players are waiting on their visas at the moment. Until then, this team is going to have a hard time beating anyone, except possibly the Florida Mayhem.
Dallas Fuel -217
San Francisco Shock +159
The Fuel have a culture problem. Two players have now been suspended or pseudo-suspended for making disparaging remarks on stream and it seems like this team has very little chemistry. There is still a ton of talent on this team, and they got stronger by adding aKm and Rascal last month, so you want to think they will eventually turn it around. However, this team has continually went one step forward and two steps back. At this point, they have to prove it before I have faith in them.
San Francisco is just 4-10, but this team has been pretty competitive and there is a lot of chemistry. For now, it’s the babybay show, but the team is about to get a whole lot better in a few weeks when sinatraa turns 18 and is eligible to play. The Shock are a very live underdog and are worth a small play at this price.
Los Angeles Valiant -233
Los Angeles Gladiators +169
The first battle of Los Angeles was an epic five-game tilt that saw the Valiant reverse sweep the Gladiators back in January. However, since then, the Valiant have gotten consistently better while the Gladiators have struggled to find their next gear. The Gladiators wins this stage have come against the Shock and the Dragons, two of the three worst teams in the league at the moment, and while Fissure has been an improvement as the team’s main tank, there are other issues.
What sets the Valiant apart are the options the team has available to them. Soon, Agilities, and silkthread have proven to be able to play with each other well and the support play has improved greatly as the year has gone on too. The Valiant will win the second battle for the hearts of Los Angeleans.
