The Chicago Bears claimed the NFC North title in 2018 and they beat the Packers in the latest duel at the Soldier Field. However, Green Bay was a better side in the opening game of the season. This will actually be the second time in as many years they are meeting in the opening week and we all remember how exciting this game was a year ago. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers snatched a comeback victory, 24-23, and pretty much spoiled Khalil Mack’s debut for Chicago.
The countdown is ON.
We will host the Packers @SoldierField to kickoff the @NFL's 100th season.

Matt Nagy, the reigning coach of the year, will be looking to build on the last season and he is definitely happy to see defensive stars Eddie Jackson, Kyle Fuller, Roquan Smith, and Akiem Hicks all returning this season. With Khalil Mack as the true leader of the defense, the Bears could turn out to be one of the best defensive teams in the NFL this time around. Mitchell Trubisky showed great signs of development in 2018 and it seems that he can carry this team forward.
Green Bay, on the other end, has a new-look team that is hoping to get back on top in the NFC North. After a miserable 6-9-1 record in 2018, the Packers will have a fresh start under rookie head coach Matt LaFleur. With new arrivals such as edge rushers Preston Smith and Za’Darius Smith, and also safety Adrian Amos, Green Bay will try to shake the things up on the defensive end. They parted ways with the linebacker Clay Matthews and wide receiver Randall Cobb, who moved to the Rams and Cowboys, respectively.
The @NFL will open its 100th season with the league’s oldest rivalry.

We mustn’t forget that Green Bay still has Aaron Rodgers, who won seven straight games at the Soldier Field prior to the last season’s defeat, so it will be great to see the league’s oldest rivalry in the opener.
