Patrick Peterson will start the season with a nice, six-week vacation courtesy of the NFL’s performance enhancing drug policy. Before this, Peterson never missed a single game for any reason in his nine-year career. If there’s one bright spot for the Cardinals, they open with six non-NFC West games. Peterson should return when the Arizona travel to New York to face the Giants on Oct 10. Peterson recorded 54 tackles, five passes defended, two interceptions and one fumble recovery last season.
Arizona’s eight-time Pro Bowl cornerback Patrick Peterson is being suspended the first eight games of the 2019 season for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing drug policy, league sources told ESPN.
