Who does the public like in Week 15 of the NFL? With the playoffs approaching there are some critical games in the NFL this week and the public has a strong opinion on a number of games, including the Monday Night Football game between the New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears. Let’s look at the teams the public is back in Week 15.
NFL Week 15 Public Bets
Pittsburgh Steelers (-2) at Atlanta Falcons
The public doesn’t like the Falcons, even at home, so they are laying the points with the Steelers on the road. This should be a high scoring game that is exciting to watch.
New England Patriots (-7.5) vs. Miami Dolphins
The public seems to back the Patriots every week so this is no surprise. It is a must-win game for the Dolphins and they did beat New England earlier in the season so this may not be easy for the Pats.
Carolina Panthers (-3) vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Bettors want nothing to do with the Bucs, and even though Cam Newton isn’t playing, it shouldn’t matter as Derek Anderson beat the Bucs earlier this season in Tampa.
New York Giants (-6.5) vs. Washington Redskins
Somewhat surprisingly, a higher percentage of bets has been placed on the Giants than any other team this week. Surprising, that is, until you look at who’s lined up across from them Sunday.
Green Bay Packers (-4) at Buffalo Bills
The Packers are a hot public team this season and that is the case again in Week 15. This is a must-win game for the Bills and the Packers are normally not as good on the road as they are at home. Three of every four bets have sided with the Pack in this one.
Detroit Lions (-8) vs. Minnesota Vikings
The Lions need to keep winning to stay close to the Packers in the NFC North and the public thinks they will.
New York Jets (-2) at Tennessee Titans
The ugly game of the week is this one and the public is backing the Jets on the road, with a surprising 64 percent approval, according to Bookmaker.
Denver Broncos (-4) at San Diego Chargers
The public is all over the Broncos again this week, even though they are on the road in San Diego. The Broncos and Peyton Manning get a lot of public support each week and have received more than 70 percent of the bets laid down for this match-up.
Seattle Seahawks (-10) vs. San Francisco 49ers
The Seahawks are rolling and the 49ers are reeling so it is no surprise that the public is backing Seattle and laying the points in NFL betting.
New Orleans Saints (-3) at Chicago Bears
The public is backing the Saints this week on the road on Monday night. That is somewhat surprising considering how bad New Orleans looked last week but the Bears have been terrible this season.
