Quinnipiac Bobcats – Siena Saints Preview – 02.28.2016

The Quinnipiac Bobcats will be at Times Union Center to challenge the Siena Saints in a Metro Atlantic Athletic matchup. Action gets underway at 2:00 pm ET on Sunday, Feb. 28 and can be seen on EFC and ES3.

The Saints are hoping for a better outcome after their 76-69 loss to Fairfield on Wednesday. Javion Ogunyemi finished with 17 points to lead the game. The Bobcats are coming off a 91-77 loss at the hands of Marist on Friday. Daniel Harris led the team in scoring with 16 points.

Ogunyemi and Brett Bisping have played at a high level over the last five games for the Saints. During that stretch, Ogunyemi has averaged 18.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.6 steals, and 2.0 blocks, while Bisping has recorded 18.2 points, 13.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.8 three-pointers a game.

This is the second game of the year between these two teams, with the Saints winning the first matchup 64-52. Brett Bisping was a standout player in the game, producing 18 points, seven rebounds, one steal, two blocks, and one three-pointer.

The Saints have gone 19-11 Straight Up (SU) and 13-10-1 Against The Spread (ATS). Over their last 10 games, they have only managed a record of 3-7 ATS.
