The decade is almost at an end, so it’s about time we’ve see some lists discussing the best of everything in the 2010s. We’ve had some very memorable teams this decade, and the NFL Network’s Tom Blair has ranked the 10 best teams over this period. Only one team per franchise is included on this list, so you won’t see three different New England Patriots’ teams here. There are some interesting inclusions (the Jacksonville Jaguars are listed, but the New Orleans Saints aren’t), but the list is worth a read.

As I said on Wednesday, this is the time of year where we see plenty of lists. Daniel Jeremiah has put out his top MVP candidates for the year, and like Louis Riddick, he seems very high on Carson Wentz. Wentz has dealt with injuries in each of the past two seasons, but he has been very sharp when he has been healthy. He completed nearly 70 percent of his passes in 2018, and the North Dakota State product has seen an increase in his productivity in each of his three seasons. Wentz has the weapons to thrive. Alshon Jeffery is a great possession receiver, DeSean Jackson is one of the best deep threats in the league, and Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert make for a scary set of tight ends.

Rob Gronkowski is the most notable player that retired this offseason, and he headlines a long list of former Pro Bowl players that retired this offseason. Julius Peppers and Haloti Ngata were two of the best players at their positions for more than a dozen years, and NaVorro Bowman was on his way to being a first ballot Hall of Fame linebacker before injury sidetracked his career. The man with the biggest leg in NFL history is on the list too as Sebastian Janikowski hung up his cleats after a 19-year career.
