While it may be met with skepticism outside of Baltimore, you have to like Earl Thomas’ confidence in his own team. Indeed, Thomas is known as a veteran player who lets his play talk for him. However in the wake of a dominating Monday Night Football win over the Los Angeles Rams, Thomas is feeling good.
In fact, he says the Ravens will be in the Super Bowl; and he feels sorry for whoever they play.
Earl Thomas: "When the Super Bowl comes, whoever we play, they’re going to be in trouble.”

Furthermore, here’s what Thomas says directly.
“When the Super Bowl comes – whoever we play – they’re going to be in trouble.”
Surely there’s reason for his confidence. Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson is within a dominant stretch that few of us have seen before. Equally important, he’s moved to the frontrunner of the NFL MVP race in the eyes of oddsmakers.
Can anyone catch Lamar? 🏆

To give context, Thomas’ response above was given when asked if Sunday’s match-up between the 49ers and Ravens is a Super Bowl preview. By comparison, his quarterback drew back the reigns a little bit. For now, Jackson says it’s one game at a time. At least, I think that is what his quote means.
“Every team wants to chase the Super Bowl,” Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson said. “That’s why we’re playing the game, not just win one game and go 1-15. That’s not a goal.”
Obviously, the Ravens are an incredible team. Still, there is work to be done to be a Super Bowl team. Aside from being good, they will need a little bit of luck along the way. That’s how it goes. If they can remain hot, get the bounces, and stay within themselves; they will represent the AFC in the Super Bowl like Thomas says.
Otherwise, it will be the team that does all those things the best.
