Ravens News: Marcus Peters Celebrates With Buffalo Crowd By Shotgunning Beer After Win

When you beat another tough road opponent in your conference, and you’re the number one seed; times are good. Indeed, that’s what we saw in the wake of the Ravens holding on to defeat the Buffalo bills 24-17 on Sunday.

After quarterback Josh Allen’s final play on fourth down went awry, check out this video on twitter that shows defensive back Marcus Peters launch himself into the Buffalo crowd. Notably, Peters appears to have a drink with the crowd and get some pats of appreciation from Ravens fans.

Equally important, the Ravens improved to 11-2 on the year and tightened their grip on the number one seed in the AFC. While Lamar Jackson threw three more touchdown passes with just a single interception, the Patriots later lost to the Kansas City Chiefs.

What all of this means is the celebrating likely isn’t done in 2019 for the Ravens. Moreover, any trip to the Super Bowl for an AFC team will be headed through Baltimore; barring something completely unforeseen.

Perhaps Earl Thomas was 100 percent correct when he made an early forecast that the Ravens would be in the Super Bowl just a short while ago.

Truly, it just feels like one of those years for Baltimore. You know, where everything seems to fall into place. They roster the favorite to win the league MVP award in Jackson. They have defeated every top team that has crossed their path – and in some cases – they have done it handily.

With three games to go, Baltimore just needs to handle their business in casual fashion. Then they can focus on that extra week of rest and wait for a softer opponent to come to town. From there, they will be just one win away from the final Sunday of the year. If that happens, a lot more players will be pouring beer over their face-masks we surmise.
