Rider Broncs – Canisius Golden Griffins Preview – 02.07.2016

The Rider Broncs (10-14) will have their hands full against the top scoring defense in the Metro Atlantic Athletic when they take on the Canisius Golden Griffins (10-14) at Koessler Athletic Center. The game gets underway at 3:00 pm ET on Sunday, Feb. 7 and will air on ES3.

The Golden Griffins got blown out by Iona 84-66 on Friday. Malcolm McMillan finished with 18 points to lead the team. The Broncs, meanwhile, are coming off a 66-60 win over Niagara on Friday. Kahlil Thomas had a big game, accounting for 20 points and 12 rebounds to claim his ninth double-double of the season.

This will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams. The Broncs won the first game 79-68. Thomas put up 21 points and 14 rebounds.

The Golden Griffins have gone 10-14 Straight Up (SU) and 8-12-1 Against The Spread (ATS). Canisius has averaged 70.8 points per game over the last 10 games, lower than its season average of 78.5.
