Russell Wilson has given the Seahawks a date by which they need to finalize his extension if they plan on doing it before the start of the regular season. The Bills added a former Titans starter to their offensive line. Jordy Nelson may have retired, but he’s already hinting at a comeback. Check out these stories and more from today.
Russell Wilson gives the Seahawks April 15 deadline | Seattle Times
BREAKING: Russell Wilson has told the Seahawks he wants a new deal done by April 15, when Seattle opens offseason workouts.

Much like his last extension, Wilson is giving the Seahawks fair warning about their negotiating window. According to Pro Football Talk, Wilson won’t hold out or skip any team activities. The deadline appears to be Wilson’s way of making sure he can focus on football when training camp starts whether he has a new deal or not. It’s possible (and perhaps likely) that Wilson’s deal will exceed the record-setting extension Aaron Rodgers signed in August.
Bills sign Quinton Spain | SportsTrust Advisors

Spain had been Tennessee’s full-time starter at left guard since 2016. The former UDFA joins the Bills on a one-year deal. If that sounds familiar, it’s because the Bills have signed six offensive linemen since the beginning of free agency. It’s not the biggest shock in the world considering PFF ranked Buffalo’s line 26th in the league in 2018. Though it’s unclear if Buffalo’s line will be better, it will certainly be different.
Jordy Nelson contemplates return | Paul Pabst on Twitter
"It probably would be hard to say no." – Jordy Nelson on if @AaronRodgers12 called this Summer asking him to come back to play for the @packers

Though Nelson had been linked to Seattle and several other teams, he opted to retire after one uneventful season in Oakland. It doesn’t sound like it would take him long to change his tune if Aaron Rodgers wanted him back. It’s a fair possibility if Rodgers still stands by his comments after Green Bay released Nelson.

The Jets were scheduled to release their new uniforms on Thursday. If this leak is to be believed, they arrived a day early. Though the green and white aren’t going anywhere, the Jets did decide to add an alternate all-black uniform. It also appears they’ll have a new helmet logo.
Marshall Yanda set to return to Ravens | Jamison Hensley on Twitter
Ravens still expect Pro Bowl guard Marshal Yanda to play this season. There had been recent speculation that Yanda was contemplating retirement. But Ravens fully believe Yanda will be lining up at right guard in 2019.
— Jamison Hensley (@jamisonhensley) April 2, 2019
It appears Baltimore’s star guard will return for a 13th season. Yanda has earned seven Pro Bowl trips along with six All-Pro spots (two first-team, four second-team). He earned at least one of those accolades every year since 2011 with the exception of 2017 when he made just two appearances due to a broken ankle.
