It will be a battle between Northeast opponents when the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers (11-15) welcome the Saint Francis Red Flash (13-11) to Knott Arena. The game gets underway at 3:00 pm ET on Saturday, Feb. 13 and will air on ES3.
The Mountaineers were victorious over Sacred Heart 66-61 on Thursday. Junior Robinson led all scorers on the team with 26 points on 9-for-18 shooting. The Red Flash are coming off a 68-57 win over Robert Morris on Thursday. Ronnie Drinnon played well, accumulating 17 points and 16 rebounds to claim his 13th double-double of the season.
Over the last five games, Drinnon and Ben Millaud-Meunier have been on a tear for the Red Flash. During that stretch, Drinnon has averaged 15.6 points, 14.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 0.8 steals. Not to be outdone, Millaud-Meunier has put up 19.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.2 steals, and 5.2 three-pointers.
This will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams. The Mountaineers won the first game 82-72. Ben Millaud-Meunier was a top player in the game with 19 points, four rebounds, one assist, and three three-pointers.
