Saint Joseph’s Hawks – St. Bonaventure Bonnies Preview – 03.02.2016

To finish out the regular season, the Saint Joseph’s Hawks (24-5) will travel to Reilly Center and go head-to-head against the St. Bonaventure Bonnies (20-7). Action starts at 7:00 pm ET on Wednesday, Mar. 2.

The Bonnies edged Massachusetts 85-83 on Saturday. Marcus Posley was the team’s high scorer with 22 points on 7-for-9 shooting. The Hawks are coming off a 77-63 win against Saint Louis on Sunday. DeAndre’ Bembry was the game’s top scorer, registering 27 points on 11-for-16 shooting.

This is the second game of the year between these two teams, with the Bonnies winning the first matchup 83-73. Jaylen Adams was a top performer in the victory with 31 points, two rebounds, seven assists, three steals, and six three-pointers.

The Bonnies have gone 20-7 Straight Up (SU) and 13-9-1 Against The Spread (ATS). The Bonnies are an exceptional shooting team from the line with a .778 free throw percentage, one of the highest marks in Division I.
