There’s no replacement for authenticity, no matter what comes along with it. Personally, I have always been a Teddy Bridgewater fan. First off, how hard to believe is it that Bridgewater last was a starting quarterback in the NFL all the way back in 2015?
Furthermore, Bridgewater is back in the role following a thumb injury to Drew Brees. This past Sunday he helped the Saints pull off a shocking 33-27 win in Seattle. He didn’t have gaudy numbers, but he didn’t turn the ball over either.
In the end, that’s all a talented Saints team needed to pull off the upset. Now, footage from NFL Films has busted out of it’s footage locker; and it’s some wholesome content.
It may legitimately be impossible to not like Teddy Bridgewaterpic.twitter.com/u5WE7P28hd

Via Barstool Sports twitter, an emotional Bridgewater is seen in the locker room following the big win in Seattle. Remember, this was only Bridgewater’s second start since 2015. In between now and then – which was a 10-9 Wildcard loss on a missed FG to these same Seahawks – was a gruesome injury.
While listening to Bridgewater, consider that he probably didn’t believe he would ever start in an NFL game again. As the tweet says, it’s hard not to love Teddy Bridgewater.
“I just want y’all to do one thing, man. I’m trying not to bawl right now. But cherish this moment, man. Cherish these opportunities that we got, cherish this feeling of winning. I’m so speechless but, man. I would not have rather been anywhere else than here. Experiencing this right here, with you guys. So man, I appreciate you guys man.”
Without question, you can see why teammates are going to play hard behind Bridgewater while Drew Brees is on the sidelines.
And who knows. Bridgewater is only 26 years old. Whenever Drew Brees – who is age 40 mind you – hangs them up, Bridgewater could be the next guy.
Remember, for every Antonio Brown moment that makes you shake your head or face palm, there’s a Bridgewater moment that is pretty heartfelt.
