San Diego Padres – Atlanta Braves Preview – 08.30.2016

Julio Teheran (3-9, 3.15 ERA) and the Atlanta Braves (48-83) go up against Edwin Jackson (3-4, 5.71 ERA) and the San Diego Padres (55-75) in the first of a three-game series at Turner Field. The game starts at 7:10 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Aug. 30 and will air on FSSD and FSSE.

In his most recent outing, Teheran pitched 6.0 innings, allowing six runs and striking out four in a 10-9 loss to the Diamondbacks. Freddie Freeman (.289, 78 Rs, 27 HRs, 64 RBIs, 4 SBs) went 1 for 4 Sunday with one run, one home run, and two RBIs. The Padres were also unsuccessful the last time Jackson pitched. He did not do well, pitching 5.0 innings, giving up five runs, striking out two and walking four in a 5-1 loss to the Cubs.
