The San Francisco Giants will be squaring off against their divisional rival San Diego Padres at PETCO Park. Fox Sports San Diego will televise the action. The opening pitch is scheduled for 10:10 p.m. ET.

San Francisco Giants vs. San Diego Padres Odds

San Francisco (+100) is the underdog to San Diego (-110) and oddsmakers have put the Over/Under for this one at eight runs. Odds for wagering on the game’s total stand at -105 for the over and -115 for the under. Bettors can also wager on the game’s spread with the runline odds standing at Giants +1.5 runs (-210) and Padres +-1.5 runs (+175).

The Padres are just 4-10 SU and 6-7 ATS. The team has lost 2.5 units for bettors taking the moneyline and 3.6 units against the spread (ATS). The Giants have gone 6-6 SU this year and are 7-4 ATS. For the visiting squad, San Francisco’s pitching staff allowed 3.4 runs per game and its starting pitchers own a 3.27 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 6.00 K/9. The bullpen has logged an ERA of 2.74, along with a K/9 of 9.39.

The Giants offense has slashed .241/.303/.357 on its way to 3.3 runs scored per game this season, including 2.6 runs per game against divisional foes and 3.4 per game over the team’s last five contests (2-3 SU).

Catcher Buster Posey and second baseman Joe Panik have led San Francisco’s hitters. Posey is slashing .375/.435/.600 with 15 hits, eight RBIs and five runs scored, while Panik (.295/.367/.500) is up to 13 hits, three homers, three RBIs and eight runs scored.

Posey didn’t do as well batting against righties on the road in 2017. Over 210 such plate appearances, he put up a slash line of .276/.357/.400 (his overall season line was .320/.400/.462).
