Sixers, Nuggets force Game 7s, Warriors Without KD and More

Two home teams took care of business in Game 6 of their respective playoff series and forced a couple of Game 7s. The 76ers vs. Raptors series and Nuggets vs. Blazers series both will have a deciding game Sunday. There could be a third Game 7 on that day — only the second time in NBA playoff history there would be three on one day — if the Rockets can beat the Warriors, who will be without Kevin Durant for Game 6 and likely Game 7, too. Elsewhere, the Lakers are still looking for the coach who will lead them back to the playoffs. The latest to interview is Frank Vogel.

Joel Embiid returned to form just in time for the Sixers, who now must figure out how to win on the road in Toronto.

Things are getting spicy in the Nuggets-Blazers series. This has been the series with the least attention paid to it, but Game 7 should be worth watching.

Kevin Durant won’t play Friday night in Houston. And he likely won’t play Game 7 on Sunday if it gets that far, either. Does that mean it’s advantage Rockets?

Next up on the Lakers’ merry-go-round of coaching candidates: Former Pacers head man Frank Vogel.

Ready for Sunday? Mother’s Day, Game of Thrones’ penultimate episode and possibly THREE Game 7s in the NBA.
