South Carolina Gamecocks – Alabama Crimson Tide Preview – 01.13.2016

The No. 19-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks (15-0) are off to a hot start and will try to remain undefeated when they take on the Alabama Crimson Tide (9-5) at Coleman Coliseum. The game starts at 9:00 pm ET on Wednesday, Jan. 13 and will air on SEC and ES3.

The Crimson Tide lost to Kentucky 77-61 on Saturday. Retin Obasohan was the team’s high scorer, finishing with 21 points. The Gamecocks, meanwhile, are coming off a 69-65 win over Vanderbilt on Saturday. Sindarius Thornwell led the game in scoring with 19 points on 6-for-14 shooting.

The inefficient offense of Alabama (273rd in the nation with an offensive efficiency of 99.4) will square off against the stingy defense of South Carolina (10th in the nation with a defensive efficiency of 90.0).
