South Carolina State Bulldogs – Hampton Pirates Preview – 01.25.2016

The Mid-Eastern’s top two teams will lock horns when the Hampton Pirates (11-7) welcome the South Carolina State Bulldogs (10-11) to Hampton Convocation Center. Action begins at 7:00 pm ET on Monday, Jan. 25.

The Pirates enter this game hoping for similar success after dismantling Savannah State 75-52 on Saturday. Quinton Chievous played a pivotal role, recording his sixth double-double of the season with 26 points and 16 rebounds. The Bulldogs, meanwhile, are feeling some disappointment after their 87-74 loss against Norfolk State on Saturday. Eric Eaves had a game-high 21 points.

Reginald Johnson has taken his game to another level over the last five games for the Pirates.
