The Southern Methodist Mustangs head to take on the Baylor Bears at McLane Stadium this week. The game will air Saturday, Sep 10 at 3:30 p.m. ET on FS1.
In last week’s matchup, Baylor smashed Northwestern State 55-7. Seth Russell had a great game through the air in the victory, connecting on 14 of 20 pass attempts for 163 yards and four TDs. Terence Williams put up 72 rushing yards and two TDs on 11 carries. SMU was victorious in last week’s performance as well, defeating North Texas 34-21. Courtland Sutton had a huge game for the Mustangs, pulling in four receptions for 162 yards and three TDs. Xavier Jones had a great game as well, adding 115 rushing yards and a TD on 11 carries.
