As the college football season draws near, different publications are listing their preseason All-Americans and Sporting News released its list earlier today. There are no major surprises on this list. Trevor Lawrence deserves first-team honors after leading Clemson to a national title last year, and Travis Etienne has received a lot of love too. In all, Sporting News named five Clemson players All-Americans, second only to the team they defeated in the national championship, Alabama. The Crimson Tide saw seven of its players named to this list, headlined by wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. Jeudy is seen by some as a potential No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Alabama’s reign of terror may be coming to an end, hastened along by programs like Clemson and Georgia establishing themselves as perennial powerhouses alongside the Crimson Tide. SI takes a look at the Tigers’ machine in this piece, focusing on the one thing that matters more than anything else in college football … recruiting. It’s been proven that the teams with the most four and five star recruits are substantially better than their counterparts, and Clemson’s hit rate over the last five years has been phenomenal. The Tigers have had two generational quarterbacks in Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence, and they have done an excellent job of identifying talent along the defensive line too. Clemson’s pipeline into south Florida has given the Tigers a number of speedsters this decade too.

EDSBS is the home to some of the best college football comedy on the internet, and one of their writers had some fun with the recent Democratic Party debates. Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, and Kamala Harris aren’t included in this story, but they don’t need to be. See for yourself … unless you’re law enforcement in the Bossier City-Shreveport area. Nothing to see here, move along.
please read this piece, or maybe just the bold parts. if you're law enforcement in Bossier Parish, do not read it at all. https://t.co/BGg87acEcL
