St. Bonaventure Bonnies – Dayton Flyers Preview – 02.20.2016

In their final home game of the season, the No. 15-ranked Dayton Flyers (21-4) host the St. Bonaventure Bonnies (17-7) at University of Dayton Arena. The game gets underway at 12:00 pm ET on Saturday, Feb. 20 and can be seen on NBS.

The Flyers fell to Saint Joseph’s 79-70 on Wednesday. Despite the loss, Dyshawn Pierre earned his second double-double this season with 10 points and 13 rebounds. The Bonnies are coming off a 71-64 loss against La Salle on Wednesday. Jaylen Adams stood out for St. Bonaventure, registering 12 points, six assists, and three rebounds.

This is the second game of the year between these two teams, with the Flyers winning the first matchup 85-79. Adams was a top player in the game with 27 points, five rebounds, six assists, three steals, and two three-pointers.

The Flyers are hoping to build on their records of 21-4 Straight Up (SU) and 13-12 Against The Spread (ATS). Dayton has consistently been near the top of the nation in terms of field goal percentage, currently ranking 45th in the nation with a FG% of .471. Below-average play has been the norm lately for the Dayton defense.
