Survivor: Ghost Island episode 8 airs Wednesday, April 11 at 8:00 PM Eastern time.
As Survivor Ghost Island grinds into week 8 and approaches 20 days on the island, the 13 remaining survivor’s attitudes, energy levels, and appearances, are obviously being affected by the harsh island life, severely rationed food, limited protection from the elements, and varying degrees of cleanliness. Several cast members seem to have lost a significant amount of weight, and are dealing with a variety of cuts and bruises, as well as hunger.

In episode 7, Bradley, an original Naviti tribe member was eliminated in the Naviti tribal council, establishing that tribal lines are weakening and taking a backseat to personal relationships, with player positioning for the upcoming merging of the tribes, as more and more contestants become eliminated. Episode 7 also brought a banner burning rebellion in Malolo, as they try to stave off the curse of losing every skill challenge to this point. Episode 7 brought two separate skill challenges and Malolo won the first and came in second place in the second skill challenge, avoiding a sixth tribal council to eliminate one of their members. Thus their flag burning stunt, seemed to work, or at least change their mentality as a team, and they were able to win their first skill challenge in the episode. During the Naviti tribal, team mates seemed to be targeting either Libby or Bradley, but in the end Bradley’s rude attitude towards his teammates was a more powerful factor than Libby’s previous two faced partnering, or backstabbing, whatever you want to consider it. Bradley, clearly taken by surprise was very displeased and did not leave graciously.

Favorite Contestants
Player strategy is clearly focusing more on 1 on 1 relationship now, than previously. The remaining survivors are looking not so much as who can help the team, as they are who they can trust to team up with until the final vote. Once again, all the lookers remain, with Michael Yerger, still at odds of just 4-1 to win, tough guy Domenick Abbate at 6-1 odds, and blonde Libby Vincek, now at 15-1 odds to win.. Male model Chris Noble is listed as a long shot at 25-1, with his teammates tiring of his ego, and it being well known that he is at odds with Domenick. Seems the oddsmakers think that Domenick will dominate over Chris.
