On Sunday afternoon, Team Canada will look to win its 27th IIHF World Championship. A victory would tie Canada with Russia/USSR as the country with the most world championships, and the Canadians are hungry for another title after missing out the last two years. Finland stands in their way of another gold medal, and the Finns can’t be taken lightly after sending Sweden and Russia out of the tournament.

Russia was able to secure a bronze medal at the IIHF World Championships after topping the Czech Republic in a shootout at the end of overtime early Sunday. The Russians had not won a medal at the World Championships in four seasons, so although they are disappointed to not win gold, at least they made it back to the podium.
