The Eastern Kentucky Colonels (14-13), who have the top shooting defense in the Ohio Valley, will challenge the Tennessee State Tigers (17-7) at McBrayer Arena. Action begins at 2:00 pm ET on Saturday, Feb. 13.
The Colonels are hoping to rebound after their 61-50 loss to Morehead State on Thursday. Nick Mayo was the team’s leading scorer with 15 points. The Tigers, meanwhile, are coming off an 85-55 win against Tennessee Tech on Wednesday. Tahjere McCall played well for Tennessee State, registering 14 points, four assists, and two steals.
McCall has been hot for the Tigers, averaging 17.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 3.0 steals, 0.6 blocks, and 0.8 three-pointers over the past five games.
