It’s that time again. Fill up your IceShaker with your favorite beverage, pop in your headphones or connect your Bluetooth speakers to the listening device of your choice and settle in for the Gronkcast with Chris and Glenn Gronkcowski. Every week the Gronks delve into life in the NFL, deliver their Bulletproof and Capper’s Cup picks and sometimes welcome special guests. It’s all exclusive to GetMoreSports.
The show opens up with a discussion on the New England Patriots and their shocking 34-10 loss to the Tennessee Titans. Glenn, of course, was a member of the last Patriots Super Bowl championship team. The Patriots have a bye this week and Chris feels like it’s come at the perfect time as they nurse their wounds after the loss.
“They’ve (the Pats) looked solid up until that last game,” Chris said. “I think they’re tired. They’ll regroup. They need to scout themselves. This is a great time for teams to go back and look at their own tendencies.”
Are the Patriots still Super Bowl contenders? It’s hard to argue otherwise, but history isn’t kind to New England if they have to play a playoff game on the road. The Patriots have dropped their last three road playoff games. Of course, Peyton Manning was the quarterback of all three teams that beat them and he’s now out of the picture.

After that discussion, Glenn and Chris deliver their Bulletproof Picks. In reviewing their picks from Week 10, Chris is on a roll now, selecting four consecutive Bulletproof picks. Glenn has gone the opposite way, he’s 0-for-4 over the last month.

They talk about a couple of surprises in last week’s game and in one of them, Glenn actually hit on in his Capper’s Cup picks. Both men had had solid weeks, but neither have gone 5-0. Needless to say, that’s the goal for Week 11 of the NFL season.
Last week Glenn went with the San Francisco 49ers -2.5 over the New York Giants on his Bulletproof pick, so that puts him at 3-7 on the season. Chris went with the Green Bay Packers at -9.5 over the Miami Dolphins and won it for his fourth straight.
Chris starts off his Bulletproof pick for Week 11, renaming a new town “Bulletproof City.” He’s going with a road favorite. His reasoning is sound, I’m just not feeling it.
For Glenn, he’s calling an audible, not picking against the spread, but going with the over in a specific game this week that’s got the entire world talking. I have to agree with Glenn on this and, frankly, the under hitting in this game would be a real shocker and a defensive feat for either team. Like Chris, Glenn has the research and hard facts to back up his selection.
That flows right into a discussion of the NFL’s choice to move the Los Angeles Rams vs. Kansas City Chiefs game from Mexico City back to Los Angeles due to the field conditions at Stadium Azteca.
Before the show wraps up, each man delivers his Capper’s Cup picks and a look at more NFL matchups.
