Tom Brady is the GOAT.
There’s no debating that at this point. Brady is appearing in his eighth Super Bowl, and aims to become the first man to win six rings as a player. Brady already has four Super Bowl MVPs, and he’s the heavy favorite to win a fifth at Super Bowl LII. Below are the Tom Brady Super Bowl 52 MVP odds at DSI Sportsbook.

Statistically speaking, this wasn’t Brady’s finest season. He threw for 4,577 yards and 32 touchdowns against eight picks, numbers that mere mortals drool over, but are considered pedestrian for the man who is the greatest of all time. Brady is going to win the regular season MVP award for the third time in his career, and he’s going to do so largely unchallenged.
Brady is already the only man in NFL history to have won Super Bowl MVP honors four times, and he holds the record for the most Super Bowl titles by a starting quarterback. Only one other player, Charles Haley, has five Super Bowl rings, and though there are players who have more rings overall during their NFL tenures as coaches or executives, Brady can become the first player in NFL history to put a ring on his opposite hand.
The Case for Tom Brady Super Bowl 52 MVP Odds
Brady is never going to shy away from the limelight. When Super Bowl 52 is in the books, Brady will have double the career pass attempts and passing yards in the Super Bowl than any other quarterback, and he already has double the completions.
When the chips were on the table last year and the Pats were facing a 28-3 deficit against Atlanta, it was Brady who rallied the troops for 31 unanswered points to win the game.
Simply put, if the Patriots win the Super Bowl, Brady is going to be the MVP, especially if the media has any inkling this might be his final game.
James White scored three touchdowns in last year’s Super Bowl, including the game-winning score in overtime, and he finished with a Super Bowl record 14 receptions. If that wasn’t good enough to win MVP honors, we aren’t sure what will be for any other Patriot.
The Case against Tom Brady Super Bowl 52 MVP Odds
Though you would think that the winning quarterback is the MVP in most Super Bowls, that isn’t always the case. Of the 52 Super Bowl MVPs (there were co-MVPs in Super Bowl XII), only 28 have been quarterbacks. Two of the last four Super Bowl MVPs were actually defensive players, though there have only been a total of eight defenders who have won the accolade.
The most important case against Brady, though, is the fact that the Eagles have been putting up great fights against opposing quarterbacks the entire postseason. Case Keenum and Matt Ryan combined to throw for just 481 yards and two touchdowns against this Philadelphia defense in the playoffs, and neither man generated a second-half point against this stout unit.
Surely, Brady is a tougher challenge for the Eagles than either Keenum or Ryan, but the likelihood of him replicating last season’s 466 yards in the Super Bowl is slim.
