It’s April Fools Day, so take everything you read with a grain of salt. New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had a little fun on Twitter and toyed with the hearts of all Patriots fans.
Bye, bye Brady?
I'm retiring. In my spare time, I'll be tweeting #LFG

Perhaps if the GOAT tweeted a little more often this could’ve fooled a person or two, but Brady waited until April 1 to tweet for the first, and second, time to play with his fans.
Everyone, OK?
Was this a bad joke?

Just in case there were a few Patriots fans in New England that pressed the panic button, Brady made his intentions clear about an hour later. Football fans from Maine to Massachusetts can collectively breath a sign of relief.

The Chicago Bears had a little fun on Monday as well, posting a video of some special uniforms the team would wear for the 100th season of the NFL.
The Bears have a classic look, but in the video featuring quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, they announced that every player will play this season with the No. 1 in front of their regular numbers.
“I’m going to be sporting the nice No. 110 this year,” Trubisky says.
No joke here
7 years ago today I woke up on the floor of a prison cell…I had nothing to live for, or so I thought. Former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf took a very serious moment to reflect on how far he has come in his personal life. On the field, Leaf was a bust and off the field he was too for a long time. But Leaf has now been sober for seven years and doing well in life.
Good for Leaf, an everyday inspiration to many.
