Bruins are the Eastern Conference champions
The Boston Bruins became the Eastern Conference champions for the first time since 2013 as they beat the Carolina Hurricanes 4-0 in Game 4. Although it was easier than the Bruins expected, they deservedly won the Prince of Wales Trophy.

The Carolina Hurricanes didn’t manage to extend the Eastern Conference Finals, but they can keep their heads high after a surprisingly solid campaign. The Canes fans were amazing along the way and they saluted their players with a standing ovation after the loss.

Brind’Amour said thanks for the support
Carolina Hurricanes head coach Rob Brind’Amour, thanked the people and community for supporting the Canes, but he apologized for a heavy defeat in Game 4. Still, he said that the team can be proud of having such players and fans.
