Friday night was a special one for Hall of Famer Vlad Guerrero as he witnessed his son make his MLB debut and trigger a ninth inning rally for the Blue Jays with a double, his first MLB hit. That was one of the things that had MLB social media buzzing Friday night and Saturday.
Vlad watches Vlad
The big news in MLB Friday night was the debut of No. 1 prospect Vlad Guerrero Jr., the son of MLB Hall of Famer Vlad Guerrero. Saturday MLB posted on Twitter video of Sr. watching Jr. record his first hit, a double to start a ninth inning rally for the Toronto Blue Jays

Gutierrez to Make Debut
The Kansas City Royals are going to bring up infielder Kelvin Gutierrez to make his debut. Not only is he excited, but according to him his wife is excited as well.

Thrice as Nice
For the first time since June 2016, the Minnesota Twins went back-to-back-to-back with Nelson Cruz, Eddie Rosario and CJ Cron going deep in consecutive at-bats.
We did something last night that our squad hasn’t done since June 26, 2016 in New York: Crush 3 consecutive homers! #TwinsWin

Anderson Does it Again
Tim Anderson sent the Chicago White Sox fans home happy with a walk-off home run and ‘bat flip’ late Friday night against the Detroit Tigers. If you do it for early inning home runs, you got to do it for clutch walk-offs, too.
