The social media content you need is entertaining, meaningful and usually a bit silly. Sunday Night Baseball provided all three with a special edition of the Presidents Race at Nationals Park. This one included Alex Rodriguez, Jessica Mendoza and Buster Olney from SNB. Big wins also make for good social media. The Rangers and Cubs provided those. And finally, what has produced more on social media over the past six weeks than Game of Thrones? MLB gets in on that act, too.
Buster Olney won in the end (we think?), but the hilarity of this video will live forever.
Tonight, the Presidents Race included a relay with the SNB crew. We strapped a camera on A-Rod. 😂😂 pic.twitter.com/RtNL6CFYzq

The Rangers and Cardinals played Sunday’s most entertaining game, with St. Louis rallying to tie in the ninth and take the lead in the 10th. Texas wasn’t done, though.

The Cubs and Nationals had the misfortune of playing Sunday Night Baseball during the Game of Thrones series finale, so the Cubs social media team made the best of it in the postgame. Agree?
The series finale certainly wasn’t perfect, but overall we’re happy with how it ended.

Meanwhile, the Marlins don’t get to sweep many series, but they did it against the Mets this weekend. That calls for a social media celebration.
More Game of Thrones content? Oh yes. How about MLB managers as GoT characters, or a Brienne of Tarth/Bartolo Colon joke. It was all on the table Sunday.
The #GameOfThrones content you didn’t know you needed…MLB Managers as GoT characters.
