San Diego Padres superstar Manny Machado signed a big-time $300 million contract in the offseason, so he should have no trouble signing a few checks … wait, the Braves mascot did what!? Even in a rebuilding year, the San Francisco Giants are having fun, too, at the expense of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Brewers chose an ex-MLB draft pick to throw out the first pitch … what could go wrong? And finally, ballpark food is expensive. Try to hang on to it.

You might remember the faux feud between Manny Machado and Braves mascot Blooper from the beginning of this series. It. Just. Escalated.

The Giants might not make the playoffs again this year, but they have three World Series titles this decade and the Dodgers don’t. So they’re going to celebrate every series win over their favored southern neighbors.

Milwaukee Bucks player Pat Connaughton was invited to throw out the first pitch at the Brewers game Wednesday, which seemed like a good idea since he grew up playing baseball. But this was an airball. Or something.

Great job, good effort, but this guy lost two plates of ballpark going after home run balls. (Also, peep the reaction from the lady who catches the pizza but didn’t want to deal with it. Sly, lady, sly.)

Royals outfielder Billy Hamilton had no trouble with ballpark food or anything else in making this spectacular catch. Nice ready-made Instagram post for the team, too.
