The Angels celebrated the return of the franchise’s newest icon, Shohei Ohtani, on Tuesday night. That pushed another franchise icon, Albert Pujols, to first base, where we got another iconic photo (all this talk about icons and not even a mention of Mike Trout?). Elsewhere, it’s May, and the Dodgers’ Justin Turner knows that means it’s time for him to heat up with the weather, and the Cubs’ Jon Lester could be a stand-up comedian after he’s done being a staff ace.

Shohei Ohtani has been in the league for one season and already has a sort of cult following, and for good reason. Welcome back to the Sho.

Meanwhile, someone was keen enough to snap this photo. A whole lot of hits, RBIs and home runs in this photo of the Tigers’ Miguel Cabrera and the Angels’ Albert Pujols.

Justin Turner has traditionally heated up in May after slow Aprils. Maybe that’s just a coincidence, but after his three-homer game last night, he doesn’t seem to think so.

#May 🙏

Jon Lester riffed on some strange defense behind him by teammates Anthony Rizzo at first base and Kyle Schwarber in left field. Easy to do after a win, right?

Jeopardy James is on one of the game show’s hottest streaks of all time and said he grew up hoping to be work in an MLB front office. So in his honor, how many can you get right?
