Tomas Hertl was the hero for the San Jose Sharks in a road win over the Vegas Golden Knight as he scored a shorthanded goal to clinch the win. Timo Meier has a message for the Sharks’ fans, while the Colorado Avalanche are going to Round 2 for the first time since 2008.

The San Jose Sharks were on the brink of elimination as the Vegas Golden Knights needed one more win to make it to Round 2, but Tomas Hertl scored a goal in the second overtime to give the Sharks a 2-1 win and force a Game 7, which will be played in San Jose.

Colorado to the Round 2
The Colorado Avalanche were big underdogs against the Calgary Flames but they beat the odds and eliminated the Flames in five games. It was the first time since 2008 the Avalanche reached the second round of the playoffs and here you can relive their victory in Game 5.

Schwartz is a hat-trick hero
The St. Louis Blues got off to a 2-0 lead in the playoff series with the Winnipeg Jets following a couple of road wins, even though the Jets bounced back with two victories, the Blues responded with a pair of wins. Jaden Schwartz exploded in Game 6 with a hat-trick to propel his team to the second round.
