Columbus Blue Jackets are not stopping with surprising favored teams in the NHL playoffs and after they eliminated reigning champions Washington capitals, they are currently 2-1 up in the Eastern Conference semis series with Boston Bruins. Carolina’s goaltender Curtis McElhinney helped his team in getting a 5-2 win over New York Islanders with 28 saves and he managed to keep the visitors from taking a lead midway through the second period with a couple of magnificent stops.
