Trout received his sixth Silver Slugger Award
The Los Angeles Angels are off to a slow start this season, but when you have Mike Trout on your team, it’s easy to be sluggish over the first few weeks. Trout is a two-time American League MVP and a seven-time MLB All-Star, and he’s just got his sixth Silver Slugger Award.

Pirates against bullies is a sure shot
The Pittsburgh Pirates started the program “Upstander of the Month” to award students for their anti-bullying behavior. Pirates’ pitcher Felipe Vasquez visited an area school to award Josh as the first Upstander of the Month. Josh started sticking up for himself, showing the way to the other kids in school and around the country.

All frustrations in one reaction
The defending World Series champion Boston Red Sox are struggling at the start of the new season. Last night, the Red Sox were humiliated in Arizona, as the Diamondbacks thrashed them off 15-8. Rick Porcello just couldn’t keep his head cool, so he flung the cooler in frustration.
