The Major League debut of hot prospects doesn’t always go as planned (Vladimir Guerrero Jr., has struggled so far, for instance), but in the case of the Reds’ Nick Senzel, things were about perfect. His first career hit. His first career home run. A Gatorade bath afterward. And all in cool throwback uniforms. Elsewhere, the Twins celebrated a rare win in the Bronx and the Dodgers’ Max Muncy celebrated a home run in style.
The Reds say it about as perfectly as possible in their Instagram post: Nick Senzel’s first career hit will be a line drive in the box score (his second left the yard).

And the Reds, professional baseball’s oldest team, are doing a series of throwbacks for their 150th anniversary. On Saturday, it was time for the 1902 threads.
1902 still looks good in 2019. 🔥🔥🔥#BornToBaseball pic.twitter.com/RLbuXZi9Cq

The Twins won a game in Yankee Stadium for the first time since June 26, 2016. That’s worthy of a celebration.
Max Muncy, this isn’t exactly a bat flip, but it is amazing. Maybe just a bat drop, or a bat dismissal.
Max Muncy destroys a baseball and gloriously flips his bat.
