It’s only mid-April, but the Major League Baseball season might have already seen its biggest blooper. Thanks to Cardinals outfielder Marcell Ozuna (who is, ahem, a Gold Glove award winner) trying to scale a wall on a fly ball that fell 10 feet short, we can have lots of laughs this morning. Elsewhere, the Red Sox are struggling, but they’re still world champs and received their rings at their home opener, and Bryce Harper is tormenting his old team again.
Oh, Marcell Ozuna. This is a case where the video is worth 10,000 words.
“See, what had happened was…” – Marcell Ozuna, probably. pic.twitter.com/1pHXLaeDOq

“He will be in the bloopers for the next 10 years.”
“The only thing that would have made it better is if it hit off of his head as he fell down.”
“‘A’ for effort.”
About that time Marcell Ozuna scaled a wall he shouldn’t have: https://t.co/78Lcc4HhgH

Boston is struggling in this season, but they still got that bling. And it’s some nice bling.
Got a really big team.
And they need some really big rings. #OpeningDay pic.twitter.com/g1bJhrgxkU— Boston Red Sox (@RedSox) April 9, 2019

Not only did Bryce Harper hit another moonshot off of his old team, the Nationals, but this one off of Stephen Strasburg was the first in MLB history by one No. 1 pick off of the previous year’s No. 1 pick.
With the Twins in New York to play the Mets, MLB decided to get two of the game’s top young arms together in Jose Berrios and Edwin Diaz. And they’re giving away a signed baseball.
