Like father like son
Detroit Red Wings legendary defenseman Chris Chelios spent 11 years in Motor City and won two championships. His son, Jake Chelios, is also playing as a defenseman for the Red Wings, and he contributed in last night’s 4-1 victory over Pittsburgh, so father Chris was overjoyed.

Blake Wheeler joined the Jets 90-point club
The Winnipeg Jets lost at Minnesota 5-1 last night, but Blake Wheeler assisted for the Jets’ only goal to become the third player in the franchise history to record 90 points in the season. Also, it was Wheeler’s 70th dish this year, and he surpassed Marc Savard for the highest single-season total.
The Stars clinched a playoff berth and this guy is their anchor
The Dallas Stars defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 6-2 last night to make their first playoff trip since 2016. Goalie Anton Khudobin put on another terrific performance, allowing just two goals on 34 shots. Dobby has a 2.47 GAA and a .926 save percentage this season and will be a real force for the Stars in the postseason.
