The Western Conference Finals produced an exciting Game 3 between the St. Louis Blues and San Jose Sharks and nine goals were scored, but the one which decided the tilt in San Jose’s favor was rather controversial. Alex Pietrangelo and his Blues teammates reacted to the loss while the Sharks’ Joonas Donskoi was much happier with the outcome.

A non-reviewable play
Erik Karlsson’s game-winning overtime goal that sank the St. Louis Blues was quite controversial as it was a result of Timo Meier’s hand pass to Gustav Nyquist who assisted Karlsson. However, the officials didn’t review that goal because it was a non-reviewable play.

St. Louis unhappy with the officials
Martin St. Louis, the Stanley Cup winner and Tampa Bay Lightning legend, expressed his displeasure following the San Jose Sharks’ dubious goal.
@nhl you have to figure out how to get the right calls. It’s the Stanley Cup playoffs. You have video. Take the 20secs you need and make the correct call. It was a great game and shouldn’t have been decided by a miscall. Every goal should be reviewed so they get the right call
