Only a few weeks after the team picked up his fifth-year option, it seems like former first round pick Vernon Hargreaves III is on the outs with his new coach. Bruce Arians would not go into specifics, but he was none too happy with Hargreaves after practice on Tuesday morning.
Coach Arians said Vernon Hargreaves was not mentally ready to practice today, but would not go beyond that. "You'd have to talk to Vernon. He’s gotta get his mind right to practice,” Arians said. The Bucs picked up his fifth-year option just three weeks ago.

Another former first-round pick is in trouble with the NFL, as Dion Jordan has been suspended 10 games for violating the league’s PED policy. Jordan tested positive for Adderall three times in four weeks in December and January.
Dion Jordan is being suspended 10 games for violating the PED policy by taking Adderall. But the former No. 3 overall draft pick tells me he remains committed to his sobriety, and football. https://t.co/fymyp2J1wv

Dallas continues to have trouble finding defensive linemen that can stay out of trouble. Tyrone Crawford was charged with a misdemeanor for an incident at a bar in Panama City in late March. The league has yet to officially announce whether he will be fined or suspended.
#Cowboys DT Tyrone Crawford was charged after a bar incident with a misdemeanor count of unlawful assembly, which obviously is a serious matter but also sounds like a charge from the 1770s: https://t.co/eGukdYoHsC

Joe Flacco does not see himself as a mentor to Denver Broncos’ rookie quarterback Drew Lock. Flacco is catching a little bit of heat for his answer, but the former Super Bowl winner left Baltimore ignominiously, and he wants to make the most of his chance in Denver. It’s not like he’s been a long-time Bronco either, so the backlash doesn’t make much sense.
Joe Flacco addressed the media for the first time since the Broncos drafted Drew Lock. Attached are his responses to questions if it's his job to mentor Lock.
"I hope he does develop. But I don’t look at that as my job. My job is to go win football games for this football team." pic.twitter.com/Sw8bKdEOzW

Former first round pick EJ Manuel has announced his retirement from the NFL. Manuel never panned out after an up-and-down career at Florida State, and his draft position is indicative of what the league used to think about Jimbo Fisher quarterbacks.
In honor of EJ Manuel's retirement, I thought it only fitting to put together this video of his career highlights. Have some tissues handy if you're the sentimental type. pic.twitter.com/eUS1kTAeqL
