On October 13, Ole Miss knocked off this Arkansas team by a score of 37-33. The Razorbacks defense let the Rebels pass for 387 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 224 yards and three scores. Jordan Ta’amu put up a good outing in the win, recording 141 rushing yards and a score on 17 attempts for Ole Miss. As a group, the Razorbacks collectively completed 15-of-22 passes for 177 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Ty Storey went 12-for-16 for 122 yards and one touchdown while Cole Kelley was two-of-five for 60 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Devwah Whaley (67 yards on 12 rush attempts) and Chase Hayden (30 yards on 12 carries) spearheaded the ground game in the defeat as La’Michael Pettway (three receptions, 77 yards, one TD) and Cheyenne O’Grady (three catches, 41 yards, one TD) led the receiving attack.

Tulsa has run the ball on 64.9 percent of its offensive possessions this year while Arkansas has an overall rush percentage of 55.0 percent. The Golden Hurricane have rushed for 209 yards/game and have 11 scores via handoffs this year. The Razorbacks are totaling 169 rush yards per game and have eight total rushing TDs.

If the numbers so far this season are any indication, then the Razorbacks might have an advantage in all aspects of the ground game, since their backfield has generated 4.5 yards per carry while their defense is allowing a YPC of 3.9 to opponents.
