UC Riverside Highlanders – Long Beach State 49ers Preview – 02.27.2016

The Long Beach State 49ers (15-13) close out the regular season at The Pyramid as they host the UC Riverside Highlanders (14-15). Action begins at 7:00 pm ET on Saturday, Feb. 27.

The 49ers got blown out by UC Irvine 90-67 on Wednesday. Justin Bibbins finished with 26 points to lead the game. The Highlanders, meanwhile, are coming off a 77-71 win against Hawaii on Friday. DJ Sylvester had a good game, posting 18 points, two rebounds, and two assists.

This will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams. The Highlanders won the first game 74-72. Taylor Johns was a top performer in the victory with 26 points, six rebounds, four assists, one steal, two blocks, and one three-pointer.

The 49ers have gone 15-13 Straight Up (SU) and 16-10-1 Against The Spread (ATS).
