UCF Knights vs Miami (OH) RedHawks Preview and Prediction

The UCF Knights visit John D. Millett Hall to take on the Miami (OH) RedHawks. The game gets underway at 1:30 pm ET on Saturday, Nov. 28 and will air on ES3.

The RedHawks are hoping for a better outcome after their 57-53 loss to IPFW on Tuesday. Geovonie McKnight finished with 10 points to lead the team. The Knights, meanwhile, are coming off a 65-54 win against UNC Greensboro on Saturday. Shaheed Davis shot 9 for 15 and led in scoring with 23 points.

Miami (OH) is a slim one-point favorite in this game and the Over/Under (O/U) is set at 134 points. The RedHawks enter the game with records of 3-3 Straight Up (SU) and 2-3 Against The Spread (ATS).

As for their opponent, it’s hard to argue with the ATS success of UCF. The Knights are clearly doing something right with a 3-0 record ATS to go along with a 1-2 record SU so far. UCF is one of the better rebounding teams in Division I. The Knights average 51.3 rebounds per game, making them the second-best team in the country for that category. Moving on to the UCF defense, teams seem to consistently miss shots against the Knights, who are the 18th-best team in the nation in terms of opponent field goal percentage allowed at .352. They average 6.0 blocks per game, good for 18th in the nation.

This game marks the first time Miami (OH) and UCF have played one another in recent seasons.

Predictions: SU Winner – UCF, ATS Winner – UCF, O/U – Over
