UFC 190 Undercard Odds: Demian Maia Faces Rising Star Neil Magny

The UFC 190 pay per view event comes to us this Saturday night.  The preliminary bouts are split between Fox Sports 1 and the UFC.tv’s “Fight Pass” and features a good number of veteran fighters trying to reestablish themselves.

The main prelim features welterweight Demian Maia (20-6) – who has been a title contender in two weight classes – as he looks for his third win in a row.  He faces the extremely hot Neil Magny (15-3) a fighter who is on a seven-fight UFC winning streak.

In the light heavyweight division, Rafael Cavalcante (12-5-1) is trying to bounce back from a loss in his last outing as he faces Patrick Cummins (7-2).  Cummins had a three-fight winning streak snapped in his last outing when he was knocked out by Ovince St Preux, so both men are in need of a win.

Another veteran Brazilian fighter coming off a loss is Iuri Alcantara (31-6), as he took a loss to Frankie Saenz. He faces fellow Brazilian Leandro Issa (13-4), a fighter who has put together s modest two-fight winning streak in the UFC.  Issa and Magny are both in fights that are considered a step up in competition.

The main card is headlined by the women’s bantamweight title fight between Ronda Rousey and Beth Correia.  The main card will open with a featured women’s bout in the strawweight division between Claudia Gadelha and Jessica Aguilar.
