UFC 199 Main Event Odds

UFC 199 Main Event Odds – The UFC 199 pay-per-view comes to us this Saturday, June 4th from the The Forum in Inglewood, Californi,  and the main event features Luke Rockhold versus Michael Bisping in Rockhold’s first middleweight title defense. Bisping is a late replacement for former champion Chris Weidman, who pulled out of his return fight with Rockhold due to an injury.

For Bisping, the match is the long-awaited title shot he has been looking for. June will make 10 years that Bisping is with the UFC and though he has had his low points and high points. He is 18-7 with the company and whether you like him or hate him, Bisping has put in the work inside the UFC octagon. Unfortunately for Bisping, he is being asked to re-match Luke Rockhold, the man who gave him his last loss back in November of 2014. Rockhold went on to win the UFC middleweight title and he has looked completely dominant, including in his first fight with Bisping. Nothing much is expected to change, and Bisping will likely be getting beat up again in this one.

The co-feature bout sees UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz return to make his first title defense against old rival Urijah Faber. Has anyone in the UFC EVER gotten more title shots than Urijah Faber? The match between the two is the third they have had, and the pair is 1-1 overall. Faber’s win is nearly 10 years old however, and Cruz won their 2011 meeting. Cruz has since been on the shelve for several years repairing knee injuries, but he returned to the title scene with a strong win over TJ Dillashaw. This one is a five round fight, and though Cruz fought five hard rounds against Dillashaw, that is the only real competition he has under his belt with his surgically repaired knees.

In Lightweight action, streaking Dustin Poirier goes for his fourth win in a row as he faces the returning Bobby Green. Green started out 4-0 in the UFC but took a loss to Edson Barbosa back in November of 2014. The UFC is asking a lot of Green to bounce back from an eighteen month layoff against Poirier, but Poirier fought as a featherweight while Green has always been a lightweight in the UFC. A win for Poirier could put him into the division’s top 5.
