UFC Fight Night 124 Undercard Odds – The Ultimate Fight Night 124 card is set to air on Fox Sports 1 and on the UFC’s Fight Pass this Sunday night.
Welterweights James Krause and Alex White clash in a bout that sees Krause enter favored at the books. Krause is the more experienced of the two fighters and he is on a three fight winning streak. Krause last fought in July of 2017 when he outpointed Tom Gallichio. White won his last fight this past September and he is looking for the first two fight winning streak of his UFC career.
More welterweight action sees veteran Thiago Alves clash with Zak Cummings. Alves dropped to lightweight after years of competing in the welterweight division, but he took a loss to Jim Miller that sent him back to 170 pounds. Cummings is 6-2 overall since joining the UFC roster. Both men last fought in April of last year, and both managed just one fight in calendar year 2017. Alves has been with the UFC for a dozen years now, and he is long past the stage where he was a young gun. He took time off after a loss to Carlos Condit but one would have expected to see him return more focused. The switching back and forth from lightweight to welterweight is not a good sign. As for Cummings, he is on his third winning streak of two fights in the UFC and he would like to shatter his ceiling and win a third fight in a row.
Lightweight action sees Marco Polo Reyes taking on the “SteamRolla” Matt Frevola. Reyes went 3-0 to start off his UFC career bt he lost his last outing, getting stopped by James Vick. Frevola has gone 6-0 on smaller shows and is making his UFC debut.
The Fight Pass portion of the card includes three women’s fights, bringing the total of women’s fights to four this Sunday. This is a positive move for the ladies divisions. The UFC headlined their New Year’s eve offering with Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos and Holly Holm for the 145 pound title. Despite that, the UFC has been slow to bring the women’s weight classes to full capacity. Four women’s fights on one card does not happen often.
The most notable of the ladies bouts sees veteran Jessica Eye taking on Brazil’s Kalindra Faria. Eye is perhaps on her last legs with the UFC as her overall record with the big show stands at 1-5 with four losses in a row. Faria lost her UFC debut but she has a lot of experience against top level women, sporting a record of more than 25 professional and amateur bouts.
